Comparative adjectives

We use comparative adjectives to show change or make comparisons:

I'm feeling happier now.

We need a bigger garden.

There are two ways to make or to "form" a comparative adjective:

  • short adjectives: add "-er...than"
  • long adjectives: use "more...than"
