 2-Different climates on Earth

The elements describing the climate are:
  1. Temperature: How warm the air is.
  2. Precipitation: The amount of water that falls in a place.
The different climates of the world are influed by factors such as:
  • Distance from the Equator. Depending on how the Sun's rays reach the Earth we have :
                - Two cold zones:  around the North and South Pole.
                - Two temperate zones: Between the Artic and Antartic circles and the tropics of Cancer and Capricorn.
-One hot zone: regions closer to the Equator
  • Proximity to the sea. The sea breezes prevent extreme temperature and coastal areas have milder temperatures than inland areas.
  • Altitude.
                    -Mountains receive more precipitations.
                    -High places have colder temperatures.
